Azmi Ghneim worked as the Technical Director at the German Water Partnership (GWP) and since beginning of 2017 is the manager of the partnership project between GWP – ACWUA and the GWP office in Jordan. He worked before as the Manager of different projects financed by the European Union, Federal Ministry of Environment, Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and the Federal Ministry for Education and research in Germany. He has 20 years of experience in research and projects implementation on water resources management gained at the GWP, the Technical University Berlin and the German Development Cooperation GIZ.
Dr. Azmi Ghneim earned his Ph.D. degree from Technical University Berlin, the title of his dissertation was “Wastewater Reuse and Management in the Middle East and North Africa: A Case Study of Jordan”, this research project won a scholarship from Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Germany. He has a M.Sc. degree in Environmental and Resource Management from Brandenburg Technical University in Cottbus, Germany.
