Eng. Haneen Sa’deh is a passionate renewable energy engineer. She received her bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics engineering in 2013 from the University of Jordan. Soon after graduation, she joined solar photovoltaic (PV) energy company, during her years working at the company, she developed great understanding in the design and implementation of solar PV systems, she has designed many On-grid and Off-Grid PV systems for residential, commercial, universities, hospitals, ministries, and farms, ranging from small scale to large scale projects. She initiated a research on the Hybrid PV thermal systems to enhance the overall efficiency of the PV system.
In 2015, she joined the German Jordanian University (GJU) as a research and teaching assistant at the School of Applied Technical Sciences, where she continued her research on the hybrid PV thermal systems and heat transfer and published a paper at a highly cited scientific journal. Over her tenure at the School of Applied Technical Sciences she supervised several lab courses and was a teaching assistant for several other courses of both Mechatronics and Mechanical Engineering departments.
In 2018, she joined the German Agency for international development (GIZ) as a junior technical advisor for the renewable energies in the water sector project. She is providing technical advice on renewable energy related aspects and investigating the potential of integrating renewable energy technologies in the water sector, she is also providing support to planning, monitoring and reporting of the project, to properly execute assigned project tasks towards the achievement of project goals.
